Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' aliiiive!

Friends, Romans, Blogreaders....lend me your eyes!

So, it's been a long while since I've been on and typing...*looks at last post* Wow, so it's been more than a while. Obviously life was at a critical point of OMG Stress level for me. School, music, play, work, and voice lessons. I really need to get a life.

First off, 1776 was a success. Through all our hard work and patience, we were able to pull off a show that I think would make our founding fathers proud. Either that, or their probably rolling in their graves at the thought that just 24 hours ago they were being portrayed by a diverse cast of people. Either way, it got done. I'm glad to have been part of a wonderful group of people who are dedicated (some more than others) to deliver the performance that is deserving of the title, "1776".

Recently, I took a trip with my two best friends to Utah and Idaho. Alex, Chelsea, and myself went to visit Alex's mom, who is the sweetest woman alive, and Chelsea's sister at BYU. Me, I just tagged along with the intention of having myself a good time. What it amounted to be was a fantastic, albeit kind of fast, trip of a lifetime. We went to Salt Lake City, where I was able to gaze upon the much talked about and idoled Salt Lake LDS Temple. Having just been baptized in the summer, I'm still kind of new to this church thing, but when I saw this temple it really hit me. I won't go into detail, but long story made short, I was made even more a believer of this church. I know that I made the right choice.

Speaking of choices, even though I didn't get the chance to vote this year, I am very happy with the results of this election.....well, almost. I just want to say that I think that Obama is the change that we need for this country, and I am excited to see what he will do to help this country become the country it needs to be. So what if I'm a minority supporting a minority? I like the man, sue me.

It's almost closing time on 2008. The turkeys are in full motion, and soon Christmas trees will go up everywhere. It seems like time doesn't get any slower, which is probably a good thing. Hopefully the next time I write it wont be in the next year. 'Til next time viewers. Happy Turkey Day!
